Two people today had been killed on a bike this previous weekend when a pickup truck strike them following it crossed the heart line in western Franklin County, the Franklin County sheriff’s workplace reported.
The motorbike driver, Joshua Kimbler, 43, of Logan, and his passenger, 40-year-aged Donielle Barker, of London, were transported to OhioHealth Medical professionals Clinic, wherever they ended up later pronounced dead.
Investigators claimed the crash happened at 1:35 p.m. Saturday. Charles Enterman, 51, of Nice Township, was driving a pickup truck north on Norton Highway, just south of Johnson Road in Enjoyable Township, when he crossed the centre line and into the southbound lane when rounding a curve.
Kimbler and Barker were heading south on a motorbike and were struck by Enterman’s pickup. The truck also strike the rear driver’s aspect of a further northbound motor vehicle that was trying a remaining change, the sheriff’s office environment mentioned.
Enterman and the driver of the motor vehicle, Phillip Panilchuck, 18, of Loganville, Georgia, have been uninjured in the crash, the sheriff’s office environment stated.
The sheriff’s office investigation into the incident is continuing.
